Charles Culp Jun 23, 2010 9:31 AM (in response to Jason Hogue)If for whateve reason Insert>Curve through Points doesn't work, then you can also try this macro, which will import .csv (or .txt) file off coordinates into SolidWorks as points in a 3D sketch.

Harold Brunt Jun 23, 2010 10:09 AM (in response to Jason Hogue)If the points are derived does that mean that you have used a formula to predict your data points? If so, then you could use the same equation (reformated) in the Equation Driven Curve Sketch Tools. It would draw the curve but not the individual point along the curve.

David Suelflow Jun 23, 2010 12:42 PM (in response to Jason Hogue)I've done this using a design table and linking the excel cells to the design table cells. The design table cells were the dimension names of the points through which a spline travels through.

Yes my points are derived from a set of formulas. Ideally what I want to do is modify my input parameters, eg inital angle & speed and have the curve in SW automatically update so linking my excel sheet to a design table would be fine. Even better would be to have the formula in the design table and link the values back to the SW named dimensions. I will give this a go today.Thanks.
