Custom properties from Assembly to Excel based bom?

I'm trying to work with an Excel based BOM.

I have a drawing which references to an assembly (CAB0001) which contains custom properties like project, assyid, own_item_id etc.

Assembly consists of parts (ABC0012 and ABC0013) which contain custom properties as well like manufacturer_id, own_item_id ...

Now when I add excel based BOM using template with columns defined containing custom properties, it works for all the included parts, but there's no line

describing the assembly.

How can I include custom properties from the assembly (like assyid CAB0001 ) into the bom, so the exported bom can be recognized as describing that specific assembly?

Under Bill of Material Properties (right click properties)...select the following option...

SPN-Tools can produce this kind of BOMs.

Here is some examples. Take a look. You can configure it to produce allmost anykind of BOMs and other listings. In these examples "Feeder" is the top assembly. If you were looking for something like this.

EDIT: There is also the SW-Structure in JPG that I used to export as excel BOMs (it not real design, just an example )

The solution was painfully obvious. I was calling

Set CPM = swModel.Extension.CustomPropertyManager("Default")

instead

Set CPM = swModel.Extension.CustomPropertyManager("")

Calling Default ended up returning Configuration specific properties rather than properties from the Custom tabsheet.
