Error 1334 when installing the Valut Admin tool

I just installed SW 2010 SP3.1 on my home computer. I want to put a vault on the same machine as I have several drives at over 3.75YB of space. I was planning on using drive J (640GB) for my Vault.

The vault installed no problem, I can log in to it through Solidworks and I see the default vault setup. The problem is whenI try to install the Vault Admin from the CD, I keep getting the following error.

Error 1334.The file 'pdmworks.chm49' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file 'Client64.cab'. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.
If the installation fails, contact Technical Support.
If you continue, you may encounter further errors. If you contact Technical Support, be prepared to provide the installation log files available in this directory.

I've installed the Vault Admin tool before with the DVD at work (I'm using the take home license). Any idea what I can do? Here's the log for it also.

Tried installing it from my other CD drive and same thing.. the VAR said to copy the DVD on to the local harddirive and try to install it from there. Still getting the same error.. Any ideas?

Now I just downloaded the entire DVD from the SW website and when I try a modify it just crashes the Install Manager. Still looking for help

I've got the same problem as Rich. I started with SP2.1, upgraded to SP4, tried adding Vault Admin but am getting Error 1334.

In the IM log, I see:

20:20:47 Error Status 0 "Property(S): VISTAGADGETMESSAGE = You currently have the SolidWorks Explorer Vista Gadget running! Stop the gadget then rerun the uninstall of SolidWorks Explorer."
20:20:47 Error Status 0 "Property(S): VISTAGADGETMESSAGETITLE = SolidWorks Gadget is Running"

Try removing the SolidWorks Explorer gadget from your Windows Sidebar.

I removed the icons from the side bar and even closed side bar.... still getting the same error.... so frustrating.

I got around the problem by downloading the entire SolidWorks SP4.0 DVD (which took a long time), uninstalling everything, and then re-installing everything from scratch. When I re-installed everything, I installed the Vault server first and the Vault Admin tool was installed with that. Then I installed SolidWorks.

Seems like a pretty brute force way to go, but I had already tried everything my "support" guy told me to.

Just a little update on this. Our VAR came in last week and I guess there was an update as a lot more people were seeing this. He gave me a link to download and install, it was a Solidworks Explorer Installation Package. In that there was an option to install the Admin Tool and that seemed to work last night. So if anyone else is having this issue, talk to your VAR to get the install package.
