Hi there !
Is it possible to group drawing views, especially detail views.
Think it's comfortable to group views from one part so it's easier to layout the drawing...
Don't know how.
Good idea for an ER!
As you know, at this time you can move them in sync by dragging the parent with the shift key pressed. If you want to add other views to the ones you need to move, just preselect them using CTRL key.
What do you mean by group? Select one, select all?
I think he wants to group them like you can with annotations (tools -> align -> group). so, I believe the answer is no, you can't group drawing views.
Right Jeremy, for example when you create a detail view from a part and you like to move the main view it should be logical the detail view is connected to the main view and moves with it like it is with annotations for example.
Or just connect al views from one part together so it's simple to layout the drawing...
For now I know only the alignment option but even you can't assign them 'square' to views, when I'm right, vertically upon a view will be broken when you add a horizontal to another view.
Thanks Alin, I didn't know about the shift key.
Didn't work for a detail view even when set with 'default' alignment but very usefull for the other aligned views.
