Anyone running Dell M6300, Quadro FX 1600M, Windows 7, SolidWorks 2010sp3.1? Are you happy with your display driver's performance? If so, which one do you have loaded?
Any takers on this one?
I have that laptop.
The OS I'm using is XP sp3
The driver I'm using for the 1600M is 220.127.116.1119
I'm on SW 2010 sp4 and it seems to work OK.
What driver are you using?
My problem is I've upgraded to Windows 7 and since haven't found a driver that's really right. After a few minutes with large assemblies open, I get really bad artifacts, black screen etc.Rebotting solves the problem temporarrily. I'm not positive it's really a driver problem, but think so.
Try running with software Open GL. (Close out any solidworks files first, then go to Tools/Options/System Options/Performance and then check Use Sofware OpenGL.) If you graphics problems go away then you know that something (probably your driver) is not right with the graphics card. If your problems don't go away, then you have a problem somewhere else.
