Ok, this might seem a little odd...

I'm trying to model a wind turbine blade, as it was shown to be made from PVC pipe in a youtube video.  (one of those homemade wind generators)

I admit - I don't believe everything I see, etc., but this was an interesting concept and well thought out by the maker.

So I begin by drawing 2 circles, extruding them to make a simple pipe (4.5od 4 i.d.)

I then insert a reference plane tangent to and along the axis of the tube.

I convert the top edge to project it to the sketch plane, then at one end I draw a vertical line down 2 inches, the other, 6.  Draw a diagonal line between the two endpoints, and that's my sketch.  I then "wrap" the sketch about the face of the tube. All is good so far.

Now, what I want to end up with it what's in the boundary of the "wrapped" sketch and get rid of everything outside.  If I do a deboss, it removes the sketch profile inside, if I emboss - the OD then changes, and the outline didn't seem to help either way.

So, I did the deboss to remove it.  I then created a second tube with no cuts.  I figured I would join the two and only keep the portion that was removed from the first.

However, I don't have that option using combine....

My question - what's the best technique to do this, am I just using the wrong command?  I'm a former Inventor user and I apologize, but they had an option that when you combined two bodies, you could combine join, cut, or keep what was left.... hence the reason for the route at which I approached this.

Thanks for the feedback!
