Sometimes we all make some bone head moves... today was my day. I had Edge filter selected and was making a Filled Surface. Problem is I window selected the main surface and now EVERY single surface edge is trying to be selected.

Why can't Solidworks add a function that stops another function. Like hitting the "ESC" key and it asking the user if he/she wants to stop the task? No need to be specific, just whether or not to stop and close out the task.

I don't think that would be so hard... they managed it when opening up an assembly that you might have mistaking opened.

I could end the task and start over, but I don't recall when my last save was, and besides I shouldn't have to.

Is there a solution I am unaware of?

I don't think so, but I have been wrong before.

Stuck waiting and still counting edges...
