Carpal Tunnel (Wrist, Elbow and Shoulder) strikes again. My mouse is part of the problem (not to mention that I hold it some 12-14 hours a day).
Did some exhaustive research and purchased a Logitech Marble Trackball. I really like it save one problem. I can't rotate! THere is no way to do the middle-mouse button push and rotate. That, or I haven't figured out how to program it correctly. According to the documentation, the Logitech Marble is suppoose to emulate the middle mouse button by clicking and holding the two large buttons (buttons 1 and 2). This doens't work and it's cripling my production (pardun the pun).
How can I program the Marble mouse to emualte the middle mouse button click so I can rotate?
I've also had the problem - it is due to the logitech setpoint driver. you have 2 options;
1. remove setpoint from the startup folder so that it does not automatically start when your computer boots. If it is already running, right click on the logitech symbol down in the system tray next to the time, and select exit. This will close the setpoint driver.
2. open setpoint (start>all programs>logitech>mouse and keyboard>mouse and keyboard settings) under the my mouse tab, select the button for the wheel, under select task choose other, from the list choose middle button
hope this fixes it for you,
Cheers Mike
