Any one know why the software dowloads page do not show any SP available for SW 2010?
How we can download versions and SP's of the SW 2010? We have service contract active, but the page do not show any links to download the software.
I'm experiencing the same issue. SW must have taken the DL's for 2010 down this afternoon.
Mine shows up that way too now. I got SP3.0 last week and was looking over SPR's this morning and the 2010 SP's were still available.
Should we all shut down and wait for an "announcement" that 2010 SP3.0 will cause regressive data loss, OS uninstallation and general computer uprising?
Yeah, I just downloaded SP3 this morning, attempted admin image installation which repetitively crashed upon attempt, and now I see the download is not there.
They were there this morning!!!!! Probably even looked just a few hours ago. I'm having all kinds of issues updating my Admin Image. ... talking to my VAR now and he has a call in to find out exactly why they were pulled... so I would say DON'T run SP3 until we know why
"... DON'T run SP3 until we know why" Doh!! I've been on SP3 since last Wednesday (but not using an admin image). No major issues that I've noticed (a couple small ones but I can't say it's all related to SP3).
SW2010 SP3.0 is showing as available in my "community" window.
Nothing for me either. I see a message stating they have pulled PDM Enterprise and that it will be back May 10.
"- SolidWorks Enterprise PDM service packs have been temporarily removed for administrative reasons. These service pack releases will be restored as soon as possible. The target date for restoring these service packs is May, 10th."
I just installed it yesterday... for some reason I ran out of system memory earlier (message in Sw) but when I checked I was only using 1.5 gig ram.. Coincidence?
Other than that no problems so far... knock on wood
I think the problem is with the PDM Enterprise downloads, not all of SW2010 SP3.0 - correct?
No - I'm wrong. Even though it seems to only affect PDM Enterprise, they are all gone.
No- they pulled everything.
I see this when click on Download and Updates "The web site you are accessing has experienced an unexpected error. Please contact the website administrator".
I've been trying to download Workgroup PDM Admin for over a day but have been unable. No downloads for 2010 are currently available. Of course these kinds of problems would never occur when we migrate to the cloud.
I wasted a number of hours today of my time and the time of the VAR trying to get to the bottom of upgrade problems. There was no indication when using the installation manager that the problem was the downloads were not available.
Every year I update Workgroup PDM I lose about a day fiddling around. Part of it is my own ignorance, and part of it is the problems with installation. After this year I think the ignorance problem is largely fixed. I'm now looking to SW to uphold their end of the deal.
Can someone from SW let us know what is happening here please.
I was on schedule to update approx 15 seats on Saturday. I already downloaded everything for SP3 and was good to go.
This throws everything into question now. Is my download ok?
Boy I'm glad I DIDN'T do it YET.
Not inspiring confidence at all.
Solidworks, please explain what's happening and if our previous SP3.0 downloads are good or not.
On Tuesday May 4th 2010 all SolidWorks 2010 service packs were temporarily removed from the customer portal. Later today, May 5th 2010, SolidWorks 2010 Service Pack 3 will be put back in place for customer access. The problem was internal in nature and not due to a software defect. Anyone who has already obtained SolidWorks 2010 SP3, or earlier 2010 Service Packs, can continue using them without any cause for concern.
We'll be post an update when Service Pack 3 is in place.
Matt, thanks for the updates. I'm sure a sign of relief for people looking for the updates/SPs.

Strange- like I mentioned in my OP, my admin image installation (SP3) fatal errors during install. I have never had that happen before! Guess I will wait until it is back up and attempt the 3 hour download again...
John I had the same thing with the fatal error message. Why not a message saying that the download server was unavailable.
My sign of relief:
Sorry, couldn't resist.
2010 SP 3.0 is back online!
That was my thought also- left me scratching my head while I was struggling to get SP3 installed.
It would be nice if SW had a tool to verify your SP download for errors to find problems rather than download the entire package again.
