I'm trying to swage the end of a tube (actually, many tube ends).

A different discussion suggested using the flex command with the taper option.

While this appears to work, changed in the locations of the trim planes change the size of the tube, both the swaged end and the unswaged end.  Even though I use a weldment to create the tube, the size of the tube can increase above the original size.

Can anyone give me directions on how to set up the flex command so I can have a tube (2-1/2" od) swaged to a smaller diameter (2" od) with a specific blade length (reduced diameter; 2" od)?

Someone else suggested using the deform tool, but it doesn't seem to work when appling in a radial direction.

Thanks in advance,

Dave
