Could someone look at the attached 09 Solidworks file and suggest an easy way to make the two upwards-angled pieces meet in a nice-looking fashion? I can't figure it out, and I can't believe there's no way to just easily fillet the two edges so they meet and then weld the corner. Please save in SW 09. Thanks!

I'm using 2010 so I can't post so you can see a model but is the JPG what your looking for? If so I dragged Edge-Flange7 above Edge Flange6 and then editted EF6 sketch to be .002 from the edge of EF7. (I tried to have them touch but I got an error. Hope this helps.

There is an easier way to model the part to create what you are after, but just because SW can model the part easily doesn't mean it can be manufactured easily.
Without special tooling, the part you show would be very difficult (if not impossible) to make on a normal brake press.
How do you want them to meet? Have no idea what you are trying to accomplish. Maybe hand draw a sketch, then scan or take a picture and upload so we can see what you are trying to do.
