    cylindrical coordinates - 3D sketch

Is it possible to define a cylindrical coordinate system in which I can create a 3D sketch?  If so, how do I do it?  The coordinate system property manager only allows for cartesian coordinates.

What are you looking at sketching in 3D? You can easily define 3D coordinates in Excel (in cylindrical, then converted to Cartesian), then run a quick macro to import those points into SolidWorks, or use Insert>Curve>through XYZ points.

So my question is what do you need to import? Solidworks cannot do 3D equation driven curves to begin with.
