ANIMATION SOFTWARE FOR SOLIDWORKS ASSEMBLIES?

Dear All,

I am using solidworks office professional 2007.

We have tried soildworks animator to animate the working principles of our transmission assemblies.

I have a problem is conveting the animation to mpeg or avi etc. like it takes long time to covert to video file and if the assembly is too big solidworks goes slow, need to markup on the video etc.

Is there any specialized software to make animation which uses the assembly available in solidworks.

Check the performance thread. Do a search for hardware and performance. Your workstation may need to be upgraded.

3DVIA Composer can be utilize for this purpose or you can create light weight version of your files (speed pack, configurations with less details) so that assembly is not heavier to animate. Also check for better graphics card, processor etc. as Feroz suggested.
