    Goals v/s surface parameters

      hi all,

i was just wondering what is the major difference b/w surface goal and surface parameters. i was trying to find out the pressure out of the pipe structure. i used surface goal of the avg static pressure to get the solution bt can i use surface parameter pressure on the out lid? i know i must use surface goal in this case but i am posting this quesion out of pure curiosity thanks

If you use "surface parameter" during the post processing phase, you should get exactly the same value as your goal.

the difference is that your goal is also a convergence tracker during the iterative process of your computation. Well chosing your goals is therefore very important if you want to be sure to have accurate results.
