I just finished creating our 2010 administrative images (SP 2.1). I was running the option editor and creating the users and defining all the options when I tried to create a new automatic activation response file. I click the new button but nothing happens and nothing is created in the image folder. I saw this was a known bug but it was supposed to have been fixed in beta 2 (see SPR 503927). Has anyone else seen this and does anyone know of a fix?
I have asked our VAR but they don't have a solution yet beyond confirming that the new button does not work.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
Am I the only admin that wants to automatically activate my stand alone licensed users during the install process? Is it possible to edit the file used in 2009 to make it work for 2010? It looks like an e-mail address is the only piece of information that is required so the response file should be super simple.
Are there any SolidWorks employees on here that could answer the question or provide the format of the file? Has anyone else been able to create one that works? I would be ok with creating the file myself by hand if I only knew the proper format.
