Hi there,

I am relatively new to SolidWorks Simulation so forgive me if I have made any glaring errors!!

Here is my problem, I have created a model that i am happy with, and it has meshed satisfactorily too. Now when i try to run the simulation it tells me that the model is unstable and that the restraints may be inadequate.

Two questions:

1.     By restraints, does it mean 'Fixtures' as in within Simulation, or do i need to step back to the model and 'Restrain' it better?

2.      Is there a way of knowing where it lacks the restraints, or is it simply a case of trial and error?..

I have tried restraining as many different parts, in as many different ways! as possible, still no joy!!

I have attached the file and would greatly appreciate it if someone would have a go at it themselves and let me know where i am going wrong!

Alternatively, point me in the right direction and tell me what im doing wrong!

Both would be equally appreciated!
