hard to use native edit of design table

I saw someone write in another thread that for some models a DT might be overkill. The comment made me think of our new part and assembly templates for 2010, both of which will include a DT. We did this to make it easier to use a design table for just about any configuration set up.

What is still not easy is working with the DT native edit, as opposed to "Edit Table in New Window." The window border controls are small and fussy, so it is hard to move or resize the table. I would never use native edit except that it is the only way to size the table for insertion into a drawing. Would it be too difficult for SW to use the "print area" function in Excel to control the table boundry?
