Does SW2010 require Local Admin rights?

Must I grant my engineering department users Local Administrator rights on their workstations for SolidWorks 2010 to work properly?

A seemingly simple question.

I have spent some time looking for a clear cut answer but have not had any luck.

From what I have read here and elsewhere, on previous versions of SolidWorks the users need to be able to modify certain registry keys, and this is solved by granting Local Admin rights for the users' accounts.

Is this still an issue with 2010? If so, are the registry keys documented?

The Local Admin method sure does seem like using a shotgun to kill a fly.

We should be able to just grant them full access to those specific keys through regedit. I must be missing something... right?
