Hello,
In SW Simulation 2009 SP 4.1 when I try running a study with specified base excitation, I get an error that says
"No. of Eigenvector blocks exceeded the maximum allowed: 2000."
When I run the exact same study with the exact same restraints, except I use uniform base excitation, the solver runs with no issues.
Is this something that was fixed in 2010? I searched this forum and google and didn't find anything related to this issue.
I initially was using it to model a moving part that was held in place at certain bolt locations, and I had other fixtures in place to avoid overconstraining the part. I redid it with different constraints and then changed the excitation to uniform and got it to produce results.
There's a chance that I would like to have separate excitations for different loads at different sections of the part taking place concurrently. I might have to hop on our 2010 seat to see if it's fixed or not.
