Hi guys.

My first thread here, hope someone finds it interesting.

I have made a model and there are invisible surfaces in it. I know they are there because they are showing up in surfcam, but they won't show themselves in solidworks. I have been using solidworks for 4 and a bit years now and have never come across anything like this before.

It's not that much of an issue for me, however the toolmaker who is being contracted for this job might find it confusing.

The second part that puzzles me is that I used this model in an assembly to indent an extruded block to create a core box for a part and the surfaces are missing on the indent also... weird.

Any suggestions on this? I have already tried a boundary surface and while this shows what is there; it creates 2 surfaces over-layed in surfcam, so I can't do this. Note: this is an optical illusion... the surfaces are there. You can click on them. Sorry, but I can't attach the files due to confidentiality as this is a work project.
