Has anyone noticed any problems with this driver upgrade.
It's the only SW certified driver for 2010 with my T3500 and FX1800 card yet I have been having all kinds of crash and lock up problems since I installed it.
There is no one using this combination? If so is it working OK for you?
I have a fx3500 with the same driver and it seems to be ok I only have problems in routing (crashes)
Thanks for the feedback. We are adding 6 Gb ram soon. We already have 6.
I'm hoping that because I'm working with large assemblies with lots of moving parts and advanced mates and external references that more memory will alleviate the the crash and lockup problems we are having.
I'm using a T3400 with a Quadro 1800 and the latest driver from Nvidia. Most of the time it works fine. But I also run CUDA enabled Seti@home in the background all the time, and I have one of my monitors rotated sideways. I am attributing the minor graphics related problem I have to that. In the past (2007 & 2008) I spent a lot of time trying different driver versions and very rarely found any problems that affected Solidworks. I would always try the latest driver, and then fall back if you run into issues.
Quadro 1800 (did not come with T3400)
so I just had a FX 1800 installed in my system and though it fixed my other video issues SW2010 hangs and crashes all the time. Did you find a fix to your problem Brian? what driver did you end up going with?
I'm still using the 188.8.131.5265 driver. My problem was solved when I started working local on my C: drive and also PDM work group.
Before that I was working across the network.
