Per the thread above, this was resolved in SW2009 SP1.0?
I'm trying to install this on my home machine; never really needed it 'til now and I'm stuck.
All of my current licenses are active. PV360 runs fine on the work machine.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Machine is running Windows XP Pro 32bit. SW2009, SP2.1.
I'm no longer a subscriber, so I'm stuck at 2009 PV360, SP0.
Kind regards,
Ken Tenney
Are there lapsed subscribers out there who have procured last / latest SP's for their current release? I hadn't considered it possibility; I thought once the padlock was put in place, that was it...
Regardless, I wouldn't take this as the first thing to try, as everything else about the respective pieces of software would seem to be fine.
I'd like to see some other ideas before executing this.
Can someone from SolidWorks respond to this, so can get some additional input, please?
Thank you.
Ken,
Yes, there are lapsed subscribers who have recieved the lastest SP's, for their version of SW, when it solved an issue with the software. Paul is correct in his advice to you. Contact your VAR and do not let them give you no for an answer.
Cheers,
Anna
Anna,
Thanks for the response. I did not mean to discard Paul's reply out of hand, but do consider this more at a "last resort" action.
I'm going to do a software re-installation and see if the problem persists. If it does, then I have solid evidence to request the latest SP.
I haven't had the opportunity to pursue this in the last week or so, but will getting to it one evening soon.
Thanks,
Ken Tenney
