When you drag a view from one drawing sheet to another you end up with all the other views derived from the view you drag on the new sheet. Is there a way to stop this happening? I'm using SW 2010 SP2.0?
Mine doesn't do this, SW 2010 sp2.1. Don't know if it's the method, or an option setting. How about ctrl-c and ctrl-v?
Thanks Mark. I'd be interested to know if others are having the same problem.
Anyone else having similar problems or know about the settings or are you deliberately ignoring me.
Thanks David. Yes, you drag them in the feature tree. I didn't know about this until the VAR showed me recently. In the past I've always just cut and pasted the views. In 2010 when I do this it also wants to delete the derived views. Maybe there is a setting or something.
The other problem I've got now is transferring a view from one drawing to the other without losing all the associated balloons. Think I'm stretching the frienship a bit here. Anyway, if anyone knows a way I'd be appreciate the help.
