Is there a guide somewhere on how to upgrade our network toolbox install to 2010. We've installed 2010 on out computers. When we change the system options for toolbox "Hole Wizard and Toolbox folder:" to the network location of our toolbox we get the message " The database file... ...is not the expected version."
Can I just copy the Solidworks data folder that was created on my C: drive during the install over the network files?

I had this same problem here. Your a step ahead by pointing everyone to a networked version though. What I did was make a batch file to copy the updated or new toolbox off of my local @ "C:\Program Files\solidworks10\Toolbox\data utilities\lang\English\swbrowser.mdb" and copied it to where the next user needed it. The underlined portion in this address may be different for you because our IT dept named it as such, but it worked for me.

not the way I would prefer to do it, but I'm fairly new at this company and changes from the "new guy" is not an easy barrier to overcome.
We have been pointing to a network drive since ver 2009. the update to 2010 would not allow us to update the network location for 2010. If we did not have any custom folders i would just replace the files. I tried just replacing the swbrowser.mdb file and that would allow acess to the netwrok. Major problem in doing this we lose all custom dirs.
This update has been the roughest one to date.
Ok tried this
Copied the network TB onto a test system, and tried to up update SW with the TB on that system. SW would not update the TB to 2010.
I'd hate to sit down and re add all the custom configs to the 2010 TB.
Is there a way I can import the custom dirs in to sw 2010?
ETA, problem fixed tried 3 different machines runing the update browser.exe , 3rd machine was able to update the toolbox.
