I have a problem to analyse wind speed that I have to use so that dust particle will be go out from system.
Please take a look picture below :
Thanks for any guide on this
I will try and hopefully it will work...
In SolidWorks Flow simulation 2010 online tutorials, you can find one example as Oil Catch Can tutorial. if you are going through that tutorial, you can solve the problem.
Thanks for the info. I will take a look....
I cant find tutorial under "Flow Simulation Online Tutorial" 2010 with topic : Oil Catch Can.
Can you please tell me the page number.
>>Run your flow simulation with your airflow defined and then select "insert particle simulation".
Where I can find "insert particle simulation" ?
Do you mean this one :
Dear David & Ameer,
Here is what I have tried : Open video attachedment....
But from here I cant make any conclusion from teh result.
Is the dust go out from system or not ? How we can know that all dust go out from system ?
Below is the example picture and SolidWorks files attached.
I hope you can do a simple flow analysis for me so that I can more understand.
Thank You !!!
Yeas, that is the correct method to insert a particle simulation. I'm using 2009 so I can't review your file directly, but can then edit the properties of the dust. From the looks of your picture, the dust does not seem to flow within your device?? You should also assign residence times to the study and set the boundary wall condition to reflection of absorbtion.
Here is file exported to parasolid.
Hopefuly you can help me to create the study.
This is just a simple assembly.
At least can give me the right direction....
