We have not been able to use any mirrored assemblies with SW2009 due to the mirrored components being (ever so) slightly off.
This has been a huge problem for us.
Any thoughts/experiences on mirroring in SW2010 appreciated!
It is vastly improved. I agree it was un-usable in previous versions. Now it works like it always should have, similar to a linear pattern of components. You can edit the mirror, which I couldn't do before, and if you need to move your original part, the mirrored part moves with it.
Can you edit individual parts in a linear pattern of components? I haven't been able to. SW 08
If you have different configurations in your part that you will pattern, you can set specific instances in your pattern to a different configuration. All the instances do not need to be the same configuration.
This has been available in SW for quite a few releases.
Here is a link to a video done in SW2010.
Thank you everyone!
So... now components mirror dead-on? No concentric mates off just enough to buckle?
