Updates behind a proxy

We have Solidworks 2010 installed on one computer on our network and this one computer has a content filter installed on it.  The content filter is basically a proxy server on the one computer in order to keep the employees who use it off the web.  The problem then becomes that any updates to Solidworks and our Catia5 translator get filtered as well.  Solidworks' installation manager will not connect to the remote servers to download, saying I have a connection problem.  I have included solidworks.com in the website exceptions, but that doesn't do the trick.  When viewing logs within the content filter administrator pages it shows no other sites visited during the update attempt except solidworks.com.  Does anyone have any advice short of "get rid of the content filter"?  Thanks
