Common bearings that are not available on 3D contentcentral? I'm looking for a model of a 6914 and a 6919 Shielded ball bearing.
Enough to design the parts it's going to fit into and the preload rings etc. I'd like it to move as an assembly for simulation purposes but that is secondary.
skf.com, create a profile, and you can download almost any bearing\housing they sell
SKF was just what I was looking for. But Tracepart had it too and is really good to know about. I really like companies that use the scripts that build your part natively. I somehow feel more confident using them and when I order parts from these companies I try to let them know how important that content was to my decision to buy their product. Hopefully more companies (like perhaps Timken/Torrington) will be putting their catalogs on the web this way. For linear motion stuff I have been looking at this company (http://www.pacific-bearing.com) all their products are available via the same scripting method.
Here is another website that I use regularly that has models from lots of manufacturers.
