Constraints not working

I have been using SolidWorks 2009 for over a year now and all of a sudden (today) I can no longer use certain constraints. These consist of the equal, collinear, and vertical constraints. Sometimes if I delete the geometry I want to constrain and reconstruct it, it will let me use them, but not often. I have included the offending part. In sketch 2 I have left one line undefined. I need it to be collinear with the line across the front plane from it. Or it could be made vertical with either a coincident or vertical constraint, it doesn't really matter. Maybe one of you could recreate the problem and I will know it is just a bad part. I have not made any changes to my computer during the time frame the problem started.
