When using Solidworks resources- discussion forum or portal the application opens a new window in Internet explorer 64 bit. witch does not support all functions on the website (flash). I have to manually restart same link in Internet explorer 32 bit every time to be able to access some functions.
How to change the default settings to make Solidworks to use 32 bit internet explorer in Vista 64 bit.
Thanks,
Teodor
Are you sure that 32 bit is already not the default. You actually have to take action to make 64 bit the default as out of the box both Vista and Win7 use IE 32 bit. You can see this by opening task manager and seeing if there is a *32 after the process name.
here are a couple of links...

If you have done one of these things, I would suggest simply undoing it.
My thoughts exactly, 64bit browsers have been around for >5years and went mainstream with Vista's release 2+ years ago.
Why don't you just install the 64-bit version of flash?.....oops....not for windows yet. ;-)
They are getting there, but the only 64-bit version is for Linux. And it's still in alpha. It does seem to be taking them a long time tho, which does seem odd at this point. It's been a long time since an update to the 64-bit version, too.

I like it this way. I use the 64 bit version of IE so I don't have to have all the extra Flash crap loading. - because it can't! :-)

This is not he case with other 64 bit applications on my computer.
All other 64 bit applications use the default browser set on this machine.
I am still waiting for an answer to this problem
