I remember being able to edit a hole callout from within the property manager in the text box.

For example when selecting a feature hidden on the farside with the callout SolidWorks allways seems to say nearside.

I would then edit the <hw-msg nearside> in the text to <hw-msg farside>

Is there a setting that allows this or has the ability been removed?
