Feature Manager Design Tree Filter Does Not Hide Graphics View

Has anyone else had this problem?  I type in a word into the filter field on the top of the feature manager design tree, and it filters the design tree, but does not filter the graphics view (i.e. the graphics view still displays all of the components, instead of displaying only the filtered components).  "Filter Graphics View" is checked, but still no filtering in the graphics view.  Any suggestions?  Is this a bug?  I'm on Windows 7 64 bit.
