Exporting IGES in Solidworks 2009 With Vista x64

    Brian Wall

We have 2 users working with Solidworks 2009 x64 on Windows Vista Business x64.  When the users export to an iges file, the operation completes, but if they try to open the created IGES file on their workstation they receive the error "Unable to read iges file. File was truncated or contains invalid data."  The same file will open on other computers that are not running windows vista x64.  I found a couple other threads on this issue but no resolutions were given.  Does any one have an explanation or resolution to this issue?

      Thanks,

      Brian

          Brian,

Have you discovered the source of this error?  I am having trouble importing iges and getting the same exact error.  I have been able to import the exact iges a couple months ago and I have not changed any settings that I am aware of.  I am using SW 2009 SP4.1 on Win 7 x64 so I haven't attempted to contact my VAR because it isn't officially supported by SolidWorks.
