I think I've had the same problem. I'll add in a couple of attributes and it looks fine in the preview. It will have all drop down lists, but some turn into drop downs that are meant to be, and only are supposed to be read files. The way i fixed this was to once you have your attributes set up, drop another random one in at the bottom the immediately delete it, check the preview, then apply and close. Then try that in the assembly... im not sure if its the same errors... but give that a go.
I am having the same problem. I start by inserting a design table into a part, creating some configurations, and then inserting/editing the Configuration Publisher. If I go back and add another configuration to the design table later on, the configuration publisher does not contain the newly added configuration when I try to insert into an assembly. As BJ mentions, the only way I seem to resolve this issue is to right click on ProperyManager... Edit Feature... drop in a random attribute and immediately delete it... click apply and close. This is annoying and seems to add an unnecessary step (a step that has to be trained to other users of the part) to creating a new configuration. Has anyone found an alternative resolution?
anybody ever have this problem..........its like some of the configs get lost. You can only select certain things when you bring it into an assembly.
When in the part and in SW preview everything can be selected and works......???
