Hello,

I am trying to dimension a detail of square tubing with an ellipse cut into it.

When I attempt to create a dimension it won't allow me to select any points (with filters on or off).

If I sketch a point it does allow me to snap to existing points (which would not appear in dimension mode).

But, when I try to sketch a second point I receive an error saying I can't sketch a point where one already

exists.

Surely, there must be a way to select the points on an ellipse while dimensioning.

Any help appreciated!
