I have been having trouble with 2010 both sp0 and sp1 in that when I exit, the window disappears but when I start SolidWorks later it tells me that it is already open. I then have to go to the task manager and "end process" on both process and then start SolidWorks again.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
No. In fact, I just opened a drawing, closed it and then exited SolidWorks. About an hour later I was going to do the same thing and got the message that SolidWorks was still open.
This is not the first time.
"2010 both sp0 and sp1" <--- do you mean on the same machine you have SP0 and SP1? If you do... that's one major issue because it's not supported.
I'll go to the basics: Reboot computer doesn't solve the issue? If not, Ctrl+Shift+Esc and do you have a SolidWorks process when SolidWorks is not running?
""2010 both sp0 and sp1" <--- do you mean on the same machine you have SP0 and SP1?" <--- No. It did it before I upgrade to SP1 and it still does it now that I have SP1 installed.
"Reboot computer doesn't solve the issue?" <---- Reboot and then opened SolidWorks, closed SolidWorks and the process is still running.
And "closed" means that I "FILE" "EXIT" or hitting the RED X in the upper right hand corner.
This has happened both when I "FILE EXIT" with parts/drawings still open and when I close all of the drawings/parts first and the "FILE EXIT".
I have an engineer here that has the same issue. He says about 50% of the time SolidWorks keeps running. All the other engineers have the same configuration and similar computers, nobody else has a problem.
