We just started having issues with either solid bodies or surface bodies disappearing. If we roll the model back at some point the body well show up roll it forward and it disappears. We tried toggling show and hide, used rebuild and ctrl Q for complete rebuild to no avail. I tried changing image quality settings. The part is there as its edges highlight when you mouse over them. And yes I tried installing the latest certified video driver for this computer with the correct video card. BTW it's a Dell T5500 2 processor Xeon with a Quadro FX 180.

We have been having all kinds of issues since going to 2010. Tried service pack 1 to resolve issues, didn't work even made some problems worse. I have seen this similar problem in the past, but it would usually just show up after hitting rebuild. There are currently 2 SPRs based on problems we are having with 2010. One is a problem using split surface where after choosing the surfaces to split in a multi body part it picks other surfaces on a different body or different surfaces on th esame body. This happens after the part rebuilds.

If anyone has a suggestion or is experiencing the disappearing body problem please respond. I need to find a solutoin quick. I am going to put in a call for tech support but I am guessing that this is something that I'll have to wait for to see fixed as I had to completely redo my model file that used the split surface.
