Can anyone help me how I can make Design table in Assembly?
I would like to make some configuration in Assembly.
Thanks in advance!
I have assembly with two parts files. Each part file has own design table.
How I can configure the two design table from each part files in assembly?
As a starting point, create the desired configs for each part independently and control these configurations at the assembly document with a design table using the $CONFIGURATION property for each part.
Don't expect to control individual part geometry sizes at assembly level. Unless someone here knows otherwise, I don't believe this can be done. That is, controlling "in-context" dimensions via an assembly level design-table.
Design tables in assemblies are great for controlling behaviour of mates and selection of part configurations.
Depending on how much work you want to put into it and what you are using it for you can control almost anything via the design table. This is covered prety well in the forum with volumes of input from Mauricio Martinez-Saez. For starters this post has quite a bit of information and examples files of one way to do what your asking about ; https://forum.solidworks.com/thread/14544
Take a look at the sample model on the following thread
There are sevaral ways to control parts from assembly level using design tables, the sample file on that thread show one of them.
