Any body else having this 'issue' with the shortcut bar in 2010?
Try resetting the registry, or importing the settings from a known good system.
What OS are you running? If Vista, do you have the Aero theme enabled?
OK, so I should have asked, "What OS are you running? If Vista or Win 7, do you have the Aero theme enabled?"
If the Aero theme is not enabled, enable it..
When you RMB > Customize on the Shortcut box, can you not drag a corner or side to resize it?
Have you tried resetting the registry?
I don't seem to have any porblems in either SP4 or 5. Sometimes it won't drag sideways but you can drag up and down. Try both ways.
Switch back to one screen only will give you the ability to modify size of S bar. At least that was the solution with dual screens and SW 2008.
yeah, there was/is a bug with resizing toolbars on dual screen setups... if you make sure your SW session is on your primary monitor that will also allow you to change toolbar sizes.
Yes I'm sure. Like I said in the original post I used to be able to resize to whatever size in '09, now that's limitied to 2-wide. '10 sp 0.0 I was able to do whatever size, now it's only 1-wide in sp1.0
I'm also used to things to stop working with no reasoning after 'upgrading' service packs.
I had the same issue. Switching Solidworks to my primary screen resolved it.
I wanted to let you know that this SPR has been resolved in SolidWorks 2011. It was too risky to fix it in SolidWorks 2010 without the potential for regressions.
Thanks for the updates Jim
