Hello
Has anybody got any ideas how to populate all holes in an assembly with smart fasteners, to include mirrored component holes.
The process works OK with normal holes but not with mirrored holes.
Thanks

The original holes were created for a hinge ( countersunk M4 ) and whilst creating the hinge it made sense to mirror the first hole then mirror them again to form a pattern.
It is only when the hinge is now in an assembly, the smart fastener feature will only populate the first hole.
Does it mean that in future you have to dimension each hole individually instead of using a mirror feature. Obviously when in an assembly it is easier to calculate the number of fasteners from the BOM table once populated by the smart fastener feature.
Instead of using mirror, use Linear pattern (Insert > Pattern/Mirror > Linear Pattern). And when you populate the fastners, every patterned hole will get a fastner.
