Line seperates from rectangle when dragged

So, I'm probably an intermediate experience level SolidWorks user, and I just had an issue pop up that I have never seen before.

While sketching if I draw a rectangle (corner or center) and then try to drag on of the sides I get a ghost image in yellow of the line and then when I release the line seperates from the rectangle and moves to where I let go. If I drag one of the corners of the rectangle the box resizes and adjusts like normal, but I can't just drag a side without it disconnecting from the other lines.

If I try to extrude the rectangle without having dragged any of the corners it extrudes fine, so the corners are connected until I try to move the line. I am using SW2010 SP1. Anyone having this issue? Thanks.
