Greets all. Am trying to recreate (simulate) some real world drop tests we did and am having
trouble correlating. Using Simulation 2009. I believe I know all of my real world parameters
(mass/size of object, exact drop height, etc), and I know the mechanical properties of my "flexible
floor" to a high degree (spring rate, density, thickness, etc).
However, my accelerometer reported 200+g and Simulation about 30g. I now find myself wondering
if I'm not comparing apples to apples.
Simulation ran for 2000ms, so I'm sure I would've caught the peak.
Any insight greatly appreciated.
