Is there a way to run a simulation on a disk spring (basically a donut shaped thin disk with 4 holes near the edges, 90* apart. This gets put in between two couplings with each coupling using 2 out of the 4 screws as anchor points. Can a simulation be done to find those spring's torsinal stiffness or how much they rotated at a given torque? i cannot give out any part files or pictures due to copyright rules so your going to have to use your imagiantion.
You can get the deflections in a cylindrical coordinate system by creating a reference AXIS in your part and selecting it when defining your deflection results. So if you know the applied torque and resultant deflection you can get the spring rate.
