Hi,
I'm trying to upgrade to SW 2009 sp5. Have completed the SW upgrade, but PhotoView 360 is unable to install.
Getting the error:
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again or enter an alternative path to a folder containing the installation package 'PhotoView 360.msi' in the box below.
I can't seem to figure out what the path is.
A search of my C drive did not find any files or folders named PhotoView 360.msi.
Using the path to the file that I downloaded for the upgrade doesn't work either.
Anyone know how I could finish this upgrade without contacting my company's notoriously slow IT group?
Thanks so much!!
Mark,
It really depends on how you (or your IT) installed SW: from an admin disk, using Install Manager, manual method etc. Just to verify, the PV360 application should be installed in the following directory: C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\PhotoView 360.
One thing to try is to go to your Windows Control Panel>install/uninstall programs and right mouse click on the SolidWorks 2009 install and choose "Change" If SW was installed using IM, then you can "modify" your installation to add or subtract programs from the SW suite including PV360.
Regards
Mark
