Why when I end a sketch (XY) only to start it again in a
perpindicular plane is there not an automatic perpindicular
constraint added. This is a pain as I need to add a perp.
constraint in order to insert an elbow/tee on the route. I would
think this would be automatic? Does anyone else have input on
this?
You can now simply drag/drop the required tee to the end of the sketch line without creating the sketch lines for the tee. During the drag (before you drop it) use shift plus the Left & Right cursor keys to rotate the tee to the required direction. Use tab to flip the tee. When you have it aligned correctly drop it. The tee will be added and the required sketch geometry is created and constrained automatically. If the newly created lines fall on the X,Y,Z axis they will be constrained to that axis, if not a perpendiculer constraint is created.
I hope this helps.
