    Error Installing SolidWorks 2009 in Win7 x64 - Error 1402

I just installed Win7 yesterday, am getting things reinstalled, and now got to the SolidWorks installation. The install gets to about 14%, then errors with the following:

      Error 1402.Could not open key:

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER32\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID. Verify that you

have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

As I'm running Win7 64-bit, I'm wondering why it's even attempting to install into a ...USER32 reg folder. I double-checked that the install disk was the 64-bit one. I found the Classes reg folder in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ directory, and have no access to this. I cannot even force control of it, and it won't even say who the owner is. The account has full admin privileges. I even directly ran the setup program as Administrator from the DVD.

So far I cannot find anything like this in forums or whatnot, so it's either new and unique, or so bone-head obvious people haven't had the issue. Either way, I could use some help.

      Thanks in advance,
