Fellow Weldment Enthusiasts,
I'm andvertising an idea I posted on the SolidWorks Brainstorm, if you think this would be beneficial for you please vote for this I think it would be highly productive, thanks in advance.
Create a File Type for Weldments (*.sldwld)
"The Weldment Modeling enviroment should resemble more an assembly than a part.I recommend creating a *sldwld document type. This meaning there should be more functionallity to insert existing library parts (multiple sheetmetal parts, sub-weldment, weldnuts, sub-assemblies, etc.) without having to recreate geometry or losing custom properties."
