Save Bodies for similar Cut List Items

When I RMB on the on the Cut list entry of the feature tree and pick Save Bodies, then try to have identical bodies reference a common file, I get a message that says "The file name, (my file name), is already used by another body. The name can only be used again for identical bodies.", but they are identical. It comes back with Save As dialog, asking for a unique file name. Basically, the Save Bodies option seems to not recognize the identical bodies as identical. I've been able to work around by only saving one of each group of bodies, but if I try to use the "Consume cut bodies" and "Create Assembly", it seems I am forced to make files for every body, even if generates 5 or 10 or 30 identical bodies in 5 or 10 or 30 files with unique names.

I've tried this in 2007, 2008sp0.0, and 2008sp1.1. Same results in all version.

Is there a way to point these identical bodies to the same file?
