Hello,
I'm new to Solidworks, so I apologize if this is astupid question. I've created a weldment from a 3d sketch, and usedend caps. However, the end cap extends beyond perimeter. I need itto be flush with the cross member. In other words, the structuralmember (3" x 3" x 1/4") needs to shortened 1/2"(1/4" end cap at both ends). How do I do this?
Thanks in Advance,
Larry Gray

Thanks for the reply. I want the end cap atthe end of the square tube, not inside. This makes the frameoverall 1/2" longer. If I make my sketch 1/2" shorter, then the cross members, are located 1/4" in. I need the crossmembers to be flush with the end caps, making arectangle.
Thanks,
