trim/extend weldment

is it possible to trim/extend a weldment structural member to a plane instead of an other structural member.
I know i can cut them, but it would be easier to use trim/extend

no.

but you could make the structrual member's sketch end point coincident with the plane.

i could, but it would stil be cut of on a 90 degree angle, and i need it to be 74 degees.

that was purely tongue-in-cheek.

as unpleasant as you may find it, an extruded-cut is your best choice.
a single line, collinear with the plane, will do the trick.
